Question:
Can a electrical panel be inside a closet which resides inside of a bathroom? A closet giving more than 30"x36" of working room
Jake Fascendini
A
Answer:
Hey Jake thanks for your question. No, but I suppose there is a little room for judgment. Overcurent devices are not allowed to be located in clothes closets as stated in 240.24(D). Overcurrent devices are also not allowed in bathrooms of dwelling units as stated in 240.24(E). If a closet is in the bathroom then the overcurrent devices are still in the bathroom.
