Watch out for where the "not" goes. You certainly did not mean that there are no outlets in dwellings required to have GFCI or AFCI protection.

Hey Scott thanks for your comment. You are probably correct my language was not the clearest wording. The original comment, related to switches, stated that "all outlets, in residences, are on a GFIC circuit" so my answer was meant as a response to indicate that - No, they are not all required to be, although some are required to be. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary one definition for "all" is "every". My grammar might present ample opportunity for correction.
