Question:
Hello, is the neutral conductor at a service permitted for bonding on the line side of the service overcurrent protective device(s), or is a separate wire bonding jumper required for that purpose?
Thanks for any clarification you can provide.
Sandy Burns
A
Answer:
Hi Sandy, and thanks for the question. The neutral (grounded conductor) is permitted as a bonding means on the supply side of service overcurrent protective device(s). See Sections 250.92(A) and 250.92(B)(1). The connections must comply with 250.8.
