Hi Jeff,
Thank you for the comments and your question. The short answer is yes generally, but here are a few items to consider to be more thorough. Check Section 210.5(C) which addresses identification for branch circuit conductors, where there are more than one nominal voltage system supplying the premises of wiring. In these cases, there are multiple methods permitted to identify conductors used as switch legs. Another example to consider are conductors of cable assemblies that really need option of identification for a run of 2-conductor cable to a single pole switch. Please see the other allowable means for accomplishing identification of branch circuit conductors, which includes switch legs.
