Question:

To run direct burial cable from my house to my pole barn. What are the requirements for installation? 100 amp Service in pole barn run is about 250 feet.

Answer:

Hey Steve thanks for your question but it has me a little concerned. If the conductors for the pole barn are supplied from your house panelboard it is a feeder not a service. There are many rules in Articles 110, 220, 225, 240, 250, 300, 310, etc. that apply to your installation. It might be best if you contact a qualified electrician.
