Hey Frank thanks for your question. Could be none. All grounding electrodes, as they are described in 250.52(A) (1) through (7) that are present must be bonded together to create the grounding electrode system as stated in 250.50. The installation rules in 250.53 must also be followed. Obviously ground rods will not be present unless someone installs them so if other electrodes such as concrete encased electrodes exist ground rods are not necessary. Design specifications and local rules can require more than the NEC does.
