Question:
Are push connectors allowed for connecting no#12 wire in a junction box. I would think not. but need clarification. They fall off. I found these in a repair one day.

Hey Jeff thanks for your question. Devices used for splices or terminations must be identified for the use as stated in 110.14. The instructions included with them must also be followed as stated in 110.3(B) - such as for use with solid conductors only. There are advantages and disadvantages to many different types of termination devices. If you believe the wire connectors do not perform as they should, share the problems you have observed with the manufacturer and testing laboratory.
