Question:
When installing conduit pipe into a wall strut does the clamp holding the conduit have to have a certain strength? the clamps are very thick steel and I am wondering if there is a load weight or strength requirement. Hope this makes sense.

Hey Jeffrey thanks for your question. You don't mention what type of conduit is being used but for example rigid metal conduit must be supported and secured as stated in 344.30. No specific strengths are provided but the AHJ has the responsibility for approval as stated in 110.2. Using fastening means that are provided by raceway or fitting manufacturers are generally accepted. Some areas can have additional requirements such as for seismic concerns.
