OSHA Partnership Moves Safety Forward

Oct 01, 2004

Rick Bush ofTransmission & Distribution World Magazine reports, "OSHA, five electrical contractors, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the National Electrical Contractors Association and Edison Electrical Institute are partnering to create a coalition to reduce worker injuries and fatalities in transmission and distribution."

Bush applauds the effort, indicating that the coalition will depend on an executive team and a steering team partnering with participating organizations to generate and share information in print and online. This effort aims to reduce fatalities and injuries, as well as the higher costs that go along with the higher risks in the electrical contracting and related industries.
